Can-Lock Security ("we", "us") operates canlocksecurity.ca. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our site or request a quote, and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect the details you provide — typically name, phone number, email, service needed, location, urgency, any description you include, and optional photos you choose to upload so we can understand the issue. Photos are never required. We may also receive standard technical data from your browser (such as IP address and pages visited) through normal website hosting.

If you sign up for our monthly newsletter, we store your email address, the date you subscribed, your subscription status (active or unsubscribed), and the page where you signed up. We use this only to send occasional newsletters and related updates you opted into. You can unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribed addresses are kept on file with an unsubscribed status so we do not email you again by mistake.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to quote and service requests, schedule work, follow up on jobs, and improve our service. Newsletter emails are used only for the newsletter you opted into. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the website or send email (for example, an email delivery provider), only as needed to process your request. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep quote and job-related information as long as needed for business and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer required.
